Here's a dragon shadow puppet from our CD-Rom "Chinese Shadow Puppet Theater". You can print out a copy of this dragon to color or paint or print our a blank dragon and fill in your own face and features.

Materials You'll Need
Paper or transparent sheets
Marking pens, crayons or paint
Scissors
Hole punch
Straws
Brads (fasteners)

Print out the dragon,
or print out a blank dragon,
color it and cut out the different parts.

Punch holes where indicated and connect the parts with brads. Tape straws on the back of arms and heads to move puppet.

2. Next, download and print out the pattern for your parfleche. You can choose to make the parfleche shown to the left - download either a colored or a black and white version. Or you can design your own parfleche using the blank pattern.
