Pentewa Interactive and RSL Interactive, Inc. Signed Internet Content, E-commerce Agreement Today

RSL website Festivals.com carries Pentewa Kwanzaa content, offers global exposure for Pentewa software products

SEATTLE, WA, December 19, 2000 - Two Seattle-based companies have partnered to exchange services and expand their website content and global exposure. Pentewa InterACTIVE (Pentewa), a Native American owned company providing educational software for children, and RSL Interactive, Inc., owner of Festivals.com, the leading Internet resource for information about community festivals, signed an agreement today for a year-long content and e-commerce project, beginning with today's launch of the Kwanzaa "Festive Fun With Art."

"Pentewa Interactive sees our partnership with RSL Interactive and Festivals.com as a tremendous opportunity to reach a world-wide community that is a natural audience for our software titles," explains Susan Olivier-Hirasawa, president of Pentewa InterACTIVE. "Teachers from around the world will have a chance to sample Pentewa's unique approach to teaching diversity through the arts. And, of course, festivals and celebrations are the perfect vehicle to get children interested in other cultures. We have been a fan of Festivals.com's excellent, comprehensive educational features and are proud to be working with them on "Festive Fun With Art."

The agreement will bring to the Festivals.com Kids", Arts and Teachers" Corner sections a different festival-related art activity each month, drawn from Pentewa's interactive software titles. The first edition of "Festive Fun With Art" featuring an activity related to Kwanzaa went online today at "http://festivals.com/~kids/pentewa/index_main.cfm" Upcoming activities will also coincide with Festivals.com's major features, including the upcoming New Year, Carnival and Native American projects.

Pentewa will offer its complete line of multicultural arts software products through the Festivals.com site. In addition to creating content around Pentewa's artistic themes, Festivals.com will feature Pentewa products in an online store accessed from the "Festive Fun With Art" activity pages.
